There's been a lot of crime in the area, as evidenced by the tremendous growth of the South WC Crime Watch and Rural Watch groups. (Posted here just a short while ago.) Here, "Heather Itisme" created a Google map showing house burglaries and stolen vehicles from just this year. (Shared on the Beecher page.) Red markers are house robberies. Blue markers are stolen vehicles. Please feel free to share, with all credit to Heather.

Supplies & Teacher Assignment

10 more days until school begins for most students!

Teacher assignments will be revealed on 8/14 after noon on the Parent Powerschool! 

If you have not received a mailing from your child's school, you should soon. 

Whether you need to label stuff or not....

Ice Cream Socials

Come on out to kick off the school year with the PTO's free Ice Cream Social!

(Connor Shaw Pre-K kids are welcome to come to the PES Ice Cream Social!)

Kindergarten Reminders

Important Reminders for Kindergarten Students

Important Reminders for the Incoming Kindergarten Class for the 2015-2016 School Year:

1. Your child must have their school physical and immunization record submitted to the school office in order to start on Thursday, August 20.
2. Kindergarten Meet and Greet will take place on Wednesday, August 19th by appointment.  Information on scheduling your appointment with your child's teacher will be mailed home the week of August 3.
3. The first full day of school for kindergarten students will be Thursday, August 20.

Please feel free to contact the school office with any questions you may have about your child's first year at Peotone Elementary School.
