PTO Board Openings
The PTO is in need of two volunteers to serve on the PTO Board.
Do you have ideas for the PTO? Do you want to make a difference in the schools?
Our amazing parents and staff raised enough funds this year to get Wi-Fi for the Elementary schools and needed resources for our staff and students. We want to keep this momentum up but need your help. We need two parents to serve on the PTO board. The PTO board serves to keep the lines of communication flowing between the school and event (fundraiser) chairs, keep accurate records of the PTO finances and organize information to present at the PTO meetings.
*You must be able to serve a 2 year term.
*Have a student at either PES or PIC for the entire term.
*Be willing to work with buildings PES, PIC & Pre-K Connor Shaw.
*Attend 5 PTO meetings as well as 5 PTO board meetings.

PTO Board Position Vacancies
The PTO Co-President, Tristin, has stepped down from this board position. On Monday January 9th, the PTO members will take a vote for the PTO secretary, Julie Widinski to move into the president's position. She has spent the year working with the board and could return next year with this knowledge. The PTO tries to have one leaving board member and one returning board member. The Co-President Jaime McCleverty's term ends at the end of this year. Julie would be able to finish this term and complete next year's term.
If the members vote Julie in, there will be an open board position for secretary. At the Monday board meeting we would then have a vote on the open PTO secretary position. If you are interested in running please attend the Jan 9th meeting at Peotone Intermediate Center 6:30 pm. You can email peotonepto@gmail.com for more information.
